Global Graphics announces the launch of JAWS PDF SERVER SUITE v5.0, the ultimate group-wide solution to fast, predictable and optimized PDF file creation.  Ideally suited to both small businesses as well as the Enterprise, JAWS PDF SERVER SUITE v5.0 consolidates an organization’s electronic document creation needs into a powerful, yet easy-to-use, centralized PDF file generation solution.

JAWS PDF SERVER SUITE v5.0 provides IT administrators with both desktop-based and server-based PDF file creation tools, as well as PDF file manipulation, annotation, merge and forms functionality for each desktop user.  The creation of an optimized, high-quality PDF file is as easy as “printing” to a virtual networked printer or, for Microsoft® Office™ users, simply clicking an application toolbar icon.

Version 5.0 of JAWS PDF SERVER SUITE includes a number of new technical and productivity features that further facilitate both deployment and usability:

• The introduction of 64-bit client and server support, in addition to the existing support of 32-bit architecture. JAWS PDF SERVER SUITE v5.0 supports 64-bit server installations of Microsoft® Windows™ XP Pro and Windows™ 2003, and client versions of Windows™ XP Pro.
• Support of both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows™ Vista™ (“Business”, “Ultimate” and “Enterprise”).
• Easy-to-use “One Click” structured PDF file generation directly from toolbar icons in Microsoft® Office™ 2007 (Word™ 2007 and PowerPoint™ 2007), in addition to the existing support of toolbar PDF file creation from within Microsoft® Office™ 2003.
• Macros supported in Microsoft Office 2007.

Reflecting the changes in server and client hardware purchasing, v5.0 of JAWS PDF SERVER SUITE drops support of clients running Apple® OS 9.x or Linux operating systems, or servers running Microsoft® Windows™ 2000 Server.  Please note that Mac OS X (v10.3.5 to 10.5.x) clients continue to be supported.
