Dynagram and Global Graphics to demonstrate live JDF workflows at drupa 2008

Dynagram, the leader in innovative imposition technologies for the commercial print, digital print and prepress industries, and Global Graphics, world leading developer of technology for document and print solutions and developer of the Harlequin RIP®, will present live workflow demonstrations at drupa, in collaboration with MIS system providers GamSys and NovaVision. The demonstrations will illustrate live jobs created in an MIS system, moving to imposition and then sent to a RIP for final print processing. The live demos will be presented at the JDF Experience Parc on six occasions throughout the event.

On 25 April 2008 the Board of Directors of Global Graphics SA (NYSE-Euronext: GLOG) voted to re-appoint James Freidah as CEO of the Company, for a one-year period ending at the close of the meeting of the Company’s shareholders that will be convened in 2009 to approve the accounts for the year ending 31 December 2008.

Global Graphics sponsors PDF and XML production parc at drupa

Global Graphics is sponsoring the PDF and XML Production Parc in the drupa innovation parc (dip) to showcase its broad range of PDF, XPS and PostScript® solutions for pre-press, proofing, digital print and workflow applications. On show (Hall 7, Stand 7.0D) will be the latest version of the Harlequin® RIP, the JDF -enabled Harlequin PLUS Server RIP, which is the first graphic arts RIP to process PDF, PostScript and the new XPS print format natively, as well as products created from Global Graphics’ new eDocument Library, including previews of new technology for high speed transactional processing and transpromo printing.

Harlequin RIP® debuts ground-breaking features at drupa

The latest version of the Harlequin RIP® the Harlequin PLUS Server RIP (v.8.0) will be given its international debut at drupa (Hall 7, Stand 7.0D). It brings a new level of functionality and performance to a wide variety of pre-press, digital printing, newspaper and workflow applications: notably the ability to process XPS files natively in addition to native PDF and PostScript processing; even faster processing speeds than its predecessors and a new feature that speeds up variable data processing of PDF files.

Global Graphics' PDF technology powers new application from Dainippon Screen

Global Graphics’ PDF technology has been used to provide a powerful feature in a new application launched into the Japanese market by Screen. LeafThrough allows office users to flip through the pages of multiple electronic documents on their computer monitor, just like turning the pages of a book, without the need to launch application software to view the files. Screen is planning to export LeafThrough outside Japan from late 2008 onwards.
